Join us as we take a closer look at the diverse species of trees present along the Millvale section of the Three Rivers Heritage Trail! \n\nThe 2025 Train on the Trail series will offer enrichment opportunities for volunteers and trail users to gain introductory knowledge and skills that will benefit their trail experience\, including native and invasive plants\, watercraft safety\, tree pruning and identification\, and more!\n\nAn email will be sent the week of the event with details. DESCRIPTION:Join Friends of the Riverfront for 2024’s sixth Train on the Trail installment!\n\n\nThree Rivers Waterkeeper will be leading an in-person training session where participants will learn what pollution to look for and how to report it while you’re out on the Three Rivers Water Trail followed by a short paddle along the Monongahela River! Participants with their own kayaks or canoes are encouraged to bring them; Friends will provide kayaks and or canoes for those that do not have their own. There will be both a land and water component; registration will be limited to the first 10 participants. \n\nThe 2024 Train on the Trail series will offer enrichment opportunities for volunteers and trail users to gain introductory knowledge and skills that will benefit their trail experience\, including native and invasive plants\, watercraft safety\, tree pruning and identification\, and more!\n\nAn email will be sent the week of the event with details.
