DESCRIPTION:Join us on the Eliza Furnace West section of the Three Rivers Heritage Trail for Trail Care with Tree Pittsburgh!\n\n\nVolunteers will:\n\n 	Weed and clear undesired vegetation along the tree beds\n 	Tend to young trees\n 	Spread mulch\n 	Collect litter\n 	Other general trail maintenance needs\n\n\n\nPlease wear sturdy close-toed shoes\, long pants\, and layered sleeves to be removed. Monitor the forecast and dress for the weather\, we will work through light to moderate rain. Bring a reusable water bottle\, water refills will be available. All other project supplies and equipment will be provided.\n\nOnce registered\, you will receive a confirmation email. An additional email will be sent the day prior to the workday with project details and what to expect; registration after 12:00 pm will not receive the details email.\n\nPlease reach out to Ashley Martin\, Trail Stewardship Program Manager\, with questions at ashley@friendsoftheriverfront.org.

DESCRIPTION:Join us on the South Side section of the Three Rivers Heritage Trail for an Upkeep Trail Care opportunity with Allegheny CleanWays!\n\n\nVolunteers will:\n\n 	Manage graffiti\n 	Collect litter along the trail and surrounding areas\n 	Cut back overgrown vegetation\n 	Other general trail maintenance needs\n\n\nWeather and river conditions permitting\, volunteers may have the opportunity to join Allegheny CleanWays staff aboard their boat to access and clean sections of the riverbank that cannot be reached from the trail. Space on the boat may be limited and participation will be determined on-site by Allegheny CleanWays staff.\n\nPlease wear sturdy shoes\, long pants\, and layered sleeves to be removed. Monitor the forecast and dress for the weather\, we will work through light to moderate rain. Bring a reusable water bottle\, water refills will be available. All other project supplies and equipment will be provided.\n\nOnce registered\, you will receive a confirmation email. An additional email will be sent the day prior to the workday with project details; registration after 12:00 pm will not receive the details email.
