DESCRIPTION:Join us for Trail Care along the Duck Hollow section of the Three Rivers Heritage Trail!\n\n\nVolunteers will:\n\n 	Cut back encroaching and undesired vegetation in restoration site\n 	Collect litter along the trail and surrounding areas\n 	Remove stickers and graffiti from amenities\n 	Clear built up debris from the trail\n 	Tend to tree tubes and cages\n 	Other general trail maintenance needs\n\n\n\nPlease wear sturdy shoes\, long pants\, and layered sleeves to be removed. Monitor the forecast and dress for the weather\, we will work through light to moderate rain. All other project supplies and equipment will be provided.\n\n\nOnce registered\, you will receive a confirmation email. An additional email will be sent the day prior to the workday with project details. All other project supplies and equipment will be provided.\n\nOnce registered\, you will receive a confirmation email. An additional email will be sent the day prior to the workday with project details; registration after 12:00 pm will not receive the details email. SUMMARY:Trail Care Saturday w/ Allegheny CleanWays - Duck Hollow
DESCRIPTION:Join us on the Duck Hollow section of the Three Rivers Heritage & Water Trail for Trail Care Saturday!\n\n\nFriends of the Riverfront joins Allegheny CleanWays (ACW) for a day of volunteering on the Three Rivers Heritage & Water Trail.\n\n\nVolunteers will be split into two groups. Land based work will be lead by Friends including undesired vegetation removal\, tree tending\, litter pickup\, and other trail maintenance needs. Water based work will be lead by ACW including collecting litter that has accumulated along the riverfront of the Monongahela River. Volunteers will have the opportunity to participate in both land and water based work.\n\n\nPlease wear sturdy shoes\, long pants\, and layered sleeves to be removed. We recommend that you bring a reusable water bottle\, and a change of clothes and shoes for the ride home – participants may get wet/muddy.
