Connor Kiniry

Trail Stewardship AmeriCorps Service Member
Connor recently joined our staff as the Trail Stewardship AmeriCorps Service Member! After graduating from Central Catholic High School, Connor Kiniry wasn’t sure what he wanted to do with his life, but he was sure working with youth was part of it. Connor first got a taste of environmental education after being a member of Scouts for around 10 years. He loved teaching younger scouts about the outside and the trail. He worked for 2 years as a camp counselor at Camp Guyusuta, and for 3 years as an after-school tutor and supervisor for Sacred Heart Elementary School. Connor loves the outdoors, but he especially loves merging the outdoors with his love for video games. He also is an animal lover, having grown up with cats, dogs, gerbils, fish and even hermit crabs. He currently has four wonderful dogs he loves to spend time playing with and going on walks with. He loves taking his dogs to parts of the trail he has worked on, even if it’s a hassle to get them all in the car.
You can reach Connor at trailbound@friendsoftheriverfront.org.
