The trail between W. North Ave and past Kroll Dr. to under the West End Bridge in Chateau will be closed temporarily as the Esplanade Project breaks ground. Starting December 10, trail users will follow the established detour route along North Point Drive, Beaver Avenue, and West North Avenue. Detour signage will be posted. This detour will remain in effect until final grading and binder paving of the permanent trail alignment are complete.
The closure is expected to last until the summer of 2026 with a more specific date to come. Please respect all trail rules and detour signage
