SUMMARY:Trail Care Thursday - Eliza Furnace Trailhead
DESCRIPTION:Join us for Trail Care along the Eliza Furnace section of the Three Rivers Heritage Trail!\n\n\nVolunteers will:\n\n 	Install sun shade sail\n	Plant annuals\n 	Collect litter along the trail and surrounding areas\n 	Remove stickers and graffiti from amenities\n 	Tend to pollinator garden\n 	Tend to tree tubes and cages\n 	Other general trail maintenance needs\n\n\n\nPlease wear sturdy shoes\, long pants\, and layered sleeves to be removed. Monitor the forecast and dress for the weather\, we will work through light to moderate rain. All other project supplies and equipment will be provided.\n\n\nOnce registered\, you will receive a confirmation email. An additional email will be sent the day prior to the workday with project details. SUMMARY:Train on the Trail - Planting Native for Pollinators
DESCRIPTION:Registration Closed \n\n\nJoin Friends of the Riverfront for 2025’s fifth Train on the Trail session!\n\n\nPhipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens will be leading an in-person training session where participants will learn about native pollinators\, pollinator-friendly plants\, how to start your own native pollinator garden and more! Participants will then have the opportunity to help plant a pollinator garden\, build bee boxes\, and make their own wildflower seed bombs. \n\n\nThe 2025 Train on the Trail series will offer enrichment opportunities for volunteers and trail users to gain introductory knowledge and skills that will benefit their trail experience\, including native and invasive plants\, watercraft safety\, tree identification\, and more!\n\n\nAn email will be sent the day before the event with details.
