Monitor the forecast and dress for the weather\, we will work through light to moderate rain. Bring a reusable water bottle\, water will not be available. All other project supplies and equipment will be provided.\n\n\nOnce registered\, you will receive a confirmation email. DESCRIPTION:Join Friends of the Riverfront for 2025’s second Train on the Trail Session!\n\n\nTree Pittsburgh will be leading an in-person training session where participants will learn how to properly prune trees including how to identify when it is needed\, tools to use\, technique\, and more! Participants will then have the opportunity to put their new skills to the test and assist Friends of the Riverfront in tending to young trees along the Eliza Furnace segment of the Three Rivers Heritage Trail. \n\nThe 2025 Train on the Trail series will offer enrichment opportunities for volunteers and trail users to gain introductory knowledge and skills that will benefit their trail experience\, including native and invasive plants\, watercraft safety\, tree identification\, and more!\n\nAn email will be sent the day before the event with details.
