We want to hear from you!

Friends of the Riverfront and Fourth Economy are conducting an economic impact study for the Three Rivers Heritage Trail. The trail has become a vital resource for the Pittsburgh region, and a regional and national destination for visitors and tourists wanting to experience the iconic Pittsburgh riverfront.

Please take our brief survey to tell us more about how you use the trail. Your feedback will help inform future trail improvements and help us communicate the value and impact of the Three Rivers Heritage Trail.

The Three Rivers Heritage Trail (TRHT) is a designated National Recreation Trail system that spans 33 miles throughout Allegheny County, running along the banks of the Allegheny, Monongahela, and Ohio Rivers and providing access to Pittsburgh neighborhoods, river town business districts, and local attractions.

For more than 30 years, Friends of the Riverfront has worked to protect and restore the riverfront through trail development and stewardship. The goal of the project is to measure the trail’s economic, social, and health impacts through the trail user survey and additional research and analysis. This is a crucial step toward further investment in trail development and stewardship!
