Is the trail in or coming to your community? Our trail development staff works tirelessly to apply for necessary grants, bid out projects, conduct public meetings, and work with municipalities to make trails happen.

Membership is a way municipalities located on the trail or involved in this process can help support the trail in their communities – and ensure that Friends can continue to offer this help. All participating municipalities will receive our quarterly business/municipality Trail Newsletter, complementary invitations to our biannual fundraising event, “Building Bridges, Building Trails”; and can show their support through a transparent window cling that certifies their membership.

Levels available:

• • $1000 a year – suggested for municipalities who are at the most intense phase of trail construction
  • $500 a year – suggested for municipalities who are in the less intense planning phases of trail construction
  • $250 a year – suggested for municipalities who are on the trail and want to show their support for the trail and Friends of the Riverfront
