Angela is an AmeriCorps member working as a trail steward with Friends of the Riverfront. She grew up in the suburbs of Pittsburgh in Plum Borough and went to college at Duquesne University. There, she studied environmental science and graduated in May of 2024. She was a member of the cross country and track team and spent many hours running on the Three Rivers Heritage Trail. In the summer of 2022, she was a trail crew member with Allegheny County Parks where she gained knowledge on trail construction, development, and maintenance as well as experience with removal of invasive species. In her free time, Angela can be found hiking local trails, climbing at Iron City Boulders, playing the guitar, or drinking tea and listening to birds on her porch.
