Get Dirty with Friends at Work
Supporting Friends of the Riverfront with your company means you are making Allegheny County a better place to live, work, and play.
Your commitment to our mission is a commitment to the neighborhoods, waterways, greenspaces, wildlife, and trails of our river valleys. Groups of volunteers play a huge role in making these places more safe, accessible, and clean for all trail users to benefit from year round.
Whether you are small company looking for a way to make a difference on the trail, or a larger corporation looking for a partner in your CSR efforts, we have a variety of ways to get involved. Here are some options to choose from:
Private Trail Care & Team Building
March through November we sponsor a half-day (3 hour) and full-day (6 hour) programs for groups of 15 or more employees with light, moderate, and heavy project options based on desire and ability, in different areas of the trail depending on need. We supply all tools, training, and equipment needed. For full-day programs, we can also arrange for lunch for your group on the trail.
Day of Service Partner
Does your organization conduct an annual volunteer day of service? Let Friends of the Riverfront be your 2024 nonprofit partner! Book your private trail care date now to get your team on the trail and let Friends do the rest.

Employee Volunteerism
Share and encourage employees to direct their volunteer PTO or employer volunteer donation to match Friends of the Riverfront by sharing our regular opportunities and events calendar on your virtual bulletin board.
