Train on the Trail – Riparian Ecosystems

Save the date for July’s Train on the Trail Series installment: Riparian Ecosystems! Penn State Extension Master Watershed Stewards will provide an overview of riparian ecosystems and aquatic invasive species followed by a short paddle to observe the riverbank from the Allegheny River. Our friends at Full Psych Adventure Team will provide watercraft for all participants to utilize. Registration will be limited to the first 25 participants. The 2023 Train on the Trail series will offer enrichment opportunities for volunteers and trail users to gain introductory knowledge and skills that will benefit their trail experience, including native and invasive plants, watercraft safety, tree pruning and identification, riparian ecosystems, and more!
