As Trail Development Coordinator, Katie works directly with communities and local governments to manage and fund trail projects throughout Allegheny County. Katie got her bachelor’s degree in Sustainable Development from Appalachian State University in 2020, which ignited her passion for community development. As a graduate of the AmeriCorps Public Allies Program, Katie partnered directly with an array of nonprofits and communities working on projects surrounding inclusion and equity. Today, Katie works on water and land trail developments throughout the Three Rivers Heritage System. Katie has a passion for grant writing and helping communities fund their projects!
