Friends Membership now offers all-new benefits - and includes an invitation to our June 20 Member Appreciation Event, FriendsFest, at the Millvale Park Pavilion

why be a member of Friends?

Be a part of our work – at a level you can feel good about.

Membership is an annual (or if you choose, a monthly) commitment that helps us plan for the future of our trails. We encourage supporters to donate as they can – but membership is a way for most people in our community to do something to support the building, maintenance and programming on the trails in a way that works for them.

Friends of the Riverfront Member Appreciation Event
Celebrate the Solstice with Friends

Happening 5-8:30 pm on Thursday, June 20, at the Millvale Riverfront Park Pavilion, FriendsFest is our first annual appreciation event for our Friends of the Riverfront members. This event will be part community festival, part information fair, and all about bringing our trail community members together! The vibe will be laid-back and family-friendly.

FriendsFest will feature live music from The Family Joulesbeer from Grist House Brewery, games, crafts from Pittsburgh Center for Creative Reuse, and giveaways – and all the Friends staff will be there to share what we’re doing and offer experiences like mini-hikes and water treks. We’ll also have tabling from partners and supporters of Friends.

This is a members-only event. You can obtain a membership at the event itself or simply attend as a member.
