Business Memberships to Friends
Businesses who support our trails are crucial to our success – and in return, our trails drive millions of dollars in economic activity per year in our communities.
We call it the Trail Business Community: a group of regional businesses that can be trailside, or farther afield, but that all want to call attention to their support of the trails – AND receive business benefits! It’s a way to strengthen our relationships with community and find ways to make that relationship work to benefit us all.
On-Trail Business Annual Membership
This is for medium to small businesses near or adjacent to the trail.
- $500 – BASIC. Membership gets you a social media highlight; as well as a virtual and real window insignia to use at your business that lets everyone know you are a Three Rivers Heritage Trail and Water Trail Supporter! We will also add you to our Supporting Business Directory and website footer and includes a Friends membership for 2 staff members.
- $750 – ENHANCED. All of the above, but includes a Friends membership for up to 5 of your staff and the opportunity to collaborate with our communications staff on a Trail Business Highlight to be published in our monthly newsletters.
- $2000 – TOP TIER. All of the above, but adds the opportunity to collaborate with Friends on an event at your business OR to hold a half-day trail care event with up to 25 of your employees with our Stewardship team!
Trail Supporting Business Annual Membership
You don’t have to be on or near the trail to support Friends! This Membership is specifically for off-trail businesses who would like to support our work and be part of our trail community.
- $250 – BASIC. Membership gets you a virtual and real window insignia to use at your business that lets everyone know you are a Three Rivers Heritage Trail and Water Trail Supporter! We will also add you to our Supporting Business Directory and website online and include a Friends membership for up to two staff members.
- $500 – ENHANCED. All of the above, plus the opportunity to collaborate with our communications staff on a Trail Business Highlight to be published in our monthly newsletters.

We can customize your Business Membership to add more or different benefits

Are you bigger business or corporation but also want a way to support our trails as part of the Trail Community?
We have a lot of ways for you to show your support of trails! We have tons of opportunities to sponsor our programming and even parts of the trail; to sponsor or support our events like Building Bridges, Building Trails and FriendsFest; to hold a half or full-day Employee Trail Care event for your staff; or to support us through in-kind donation of goods and services.
