Train on the Trail – Planting Native for Pollinators

May 22 @ 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm
Join Friends of the Riverfront for 2025’s fifth Train on the Trail session!

Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens will be leading an in-person training session where participants will learn about native pollinators, pollinator-friendly plants, how to start your own native pollinator garden and more! Participants will then have the opportunity to help plant a pollinator garden, build bee boxes, and make their own wildflower seed bombs.

The 2025 Train on the Trail series will offer enrichment opportunities for volunteers and trail users to gain introductory knowledge and skills that will benefit their trail experience, including native and invasive plants, watercraft safety, tree identification, and more!

An email will be sent the day before the event with details. Email Angela Valotta, Trail Stewardship AmeriCorps Member, with any questions at trailstewardship@friendsoftheriverfront.org.
