Registration is closed. Join us our next Train on the Trail in March!
Join Friends of the Riverfront on Saturday, February 28 on the Lawrenceville segment of the Three Rivers Heritage Trail for our first Train on the Trail Session of 2026!
The Audubon Society of Western Pa will be leading an in-person training session where participants will learn how to identify winter trees based on bark, twigs, buds, shape, and even smell. Join us as we take a closer look at the diverse species of trees present along the Three Rivers Heritage Trail!
The 2026 Train on the Trail series will offer enrichment opportunities for volunteers and trail users to gain introductory knowledge and skills that will benefit their trail experience, including native and invasive plants, watercraft safety, tree pruning and identification, and more!
An email will be sent the week of the event with details. Contact Alex Toner, Director of Trail Stewardship, with any questions at alex@friendsoftheriverfront.org.
