Join us on the Monongahela Wharf Landing section of the Three Rivers Heritage Trail for an Upkeep Trail Care opportunity!
This cleanup is made possible through our partnership with Allegheny Cleanways. Volunteers will be transported to and from the site using their boat, allowing us to access areas that are not easily reachable by foot.
Volunteers will:
Please wear sturdy shoes, long pants, and layered sleeves to be removed. Monitor the forecast and dress for the weather, we will work through light to moderate rain. Bring a reusable water bottle, water will not be available. All other project supplies and equipment will be provided.
Once registered, you will receive a confirmation email. An additional email will be sent the day prior to the workday with project details; registration after 12:00 pm will not receive the details email. Space is limited to 15 participants to ensure a safe, hands-on experience for all volunteers. - Collect litter along the trail and surrounding areas
- Remove stickers and paint over graffiti
- Clear built up debris from the trail
- Other general trail maintenance needs
