Join Friends of the Riverfront for 2024’s second Train on the Trail installment! Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy's Naturalist Educator, Stephen Bucklin, will be leading us on a bird walk along the Three Rivers Heritage Trail. Participants will learn to identify birds species and gain a understanding of the natural ecosystem surrounding our trail system.

Penn State Extension's Master Watershed Stewards of Allegheny County will provide an overview of best practices in managing and protecting water resources and providing habitat for wildlife and pollinators on their own property followed by a short paddle to observe the riverbank from the Allegheny River.
