Trail Study to Connect GAP and Westmoreland Heritage Trail Through Turtle Creek

We partnered with Allegheny County Government, Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT), and Southwestern Pennsylvania Commission to conduct a Trail Study for the Turtle Creek Connector Trail that could connect the Great Allegheny Passage and the Westmoreland Heritage Trail. We are excited to continue to look for new connections to the Three Rivers Heritage Trail system and further connect more communities.

To learn more about the feasibility study and ask questions, please join us at the upcoming virtual public meeting or at one of two open houses.
