Join us on the Duck Hollow section of the Three Rivers Heritage & Water Trail for Trail Care Saturday! Friends of the Riverfront joins Allegheny CleanWays (ACW) for a day of volunteering on the Three Rivers Heritage & Water Trail. Volunteers will be split into two groups. Land based work will be lead by Friends including undesired vegetation removal, tree tending, litter pickup, and other trail maintenance needs. Water based work will be lead by ACW including collecting litter that has accumulated along the riverfront of the Monongahela River. Volunteers will have the opportunity to participate in both land and water based work.

Join us for Trail Care along the Hazelwood section of the Three Rivers Heritage Trail! Volunteers will get the opportunity to learn about the new proposed section of trail connecting Hazelwood to Duck Hollow from our Trail Development Project Manager followed by a walk collecting litter along the proposed route. Friends of the Riverfront will treat volunteers to a drink at the Hazelwood Brew House after the event.
Join us on the River Avenue section of the Three Rivers Heritage Trail for a Trail Care opportunity! Volunteers will pull invasive vegetation from restoration site, collect litter along the trail and surrounding areas, cut back encroaching and undesired vegetation, as well as other general trail maintenance needs.
Join us at the Springdale Launch on the Allegheny River section of the Three Rivers Water Trail for a river-based Water Trail Care opportunity! Volunteers will launch from the Springdale Launch and paddle upriver collecting litter along the way.
