Friends of the Riverfront is assisting Springdale Borough with a community vision plan that will set the stage for future improvements within Springdale Borough.

Phase 1 is currently under construction.

Multimodal facility along Freeport Road from Boyd Avenue to the Hulton Bridge.

Working to develop the trail segment between Millvale Riverfront Park and Etna Riverfront Park.

Connects the Three Rivers Heritage Trail from Hazelwood to Duck Hollow and extends access to the Carrie Furnace Redevelopment Site.

Friends of the Riverfront is partnering with the City of Pittsburgh to create a plan to guide the maintenance of the trail to ensure a positive user experience.
