*Trail Closure starting 2/1/2023 and going through 10/2023*

The Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (DCNR) is leading a project to create a wider, safer, accessible and more welcoming trail connection between Point State Park and the Monongahela Wharf.

This project has been in the works for many years and will be a welcome addition to the Three Rivers Heritage Trail and Great Allegheny Passage.  The initial design was led by Riverlife in coordination with DCNR, the Parking Authority, and other stakeholders.

Friends of the Riverfront, along with partners at Great Allegheny Passage Conservancy, BikePGH, and Riverlife, are assisting with the detour, signage, and communicating the closure to trail users.
