PART 2: Tree Planting on the Eliza Furnace

After our initial tree planting on Sunday, November 17th, Friends is planning a follow up tree planting along the Eliza Furnace section of the Three Rivers Heritage Trail on Sunday, December 8th. We will be planting larger trees, spreading topsoil and mulch, and getting our hands dirty! We are looking for a large group of volunteers for this event; bundle up and bring a buddy! RSVP here. We will meet in the parking lot at the corner of Swinburne Street and Second Avenue before we head onto the trail.
