Community Forge and Allegheny Cleanways are teaming up on Saturday, November 18th at 12pm for a Neighborhood Litter Walk through Wilkinsburg. Guided by Community Forge’s Violence Prevention and Community Engagement Director, Ross Watson, we will embark on a roughly 90-minute walk, cleaning up trash and debris as we move throughout the neighborhood. We will finish with a social hour at Community Forge, with some food and drink to share.
The two goals of a Neighborhood Litter Walk are to clean up litter AND to get to know our neighboring communities. All participants are invited to keep their Cleanup Kits for personal use at the end of the walk.
