Braddock Riverfront Cleanup with Allegheny CleanWays Tireless Project

Friends of the Riverfront joins Allegheny CleanWays (ACW) Riverfront Cleanup Program, the Tireless Project, for a day of volunteering as part of their 2023 River Series focusing on the Monongahela River. Volunteers will assist ACW via their work boats to remove trash that has accumulated along the area’s riverfont, as well advance Friends water trail launch improvements including painting, planting, installing fishing line recycling receptacles as well as other amenity improvements. Please wear sturdy shoes, long pants, and layered sleeves to be removed. Bring a reusable water bottle, refills will be available. All other project supplies and equipment for land and river based work will be provided. An email will be sent one week prior to the workday with a detailed volunteer overview.
