Trail Care Saturday with Allegheny CleanWays – Duck Hollow

Friends of the Riverfront joins Allegheny CleanWays (ACW) for a day of volunteering on the Three Rivers Heritage & Water Trail.

Volunteers will be split into two groups. Land based work will be lead by Friends including undesired vegetation removal, litter pickup, and more; water based work will be lead by ACW including cleanup of litter that has accumulated along the riverfront of the Monongahela River. Volunteers will have the opportunity to participate in both land and water based work.

Please wear sturdy shoes, long pants, and layered sleeves to be removed. Bring a reusable water bottle, refills will be available. All other project supplies and equipment for land and river based work will be provided.
