Join us out on the Three Rivers Heritage Trail for a Tuesday morning workday! Volunteers will work on invasive plant management, including cutting invasive vines from trees, as well as litter pick-up along the trail and riverfront. Please wear sturdy shoes and dress warmly. The 2022 Litter League comes to close with it's final tournament of the season at Cinderland's Foederhouse in Lawrenceville. Join Friends of the Riverfront for one of three Public Trail Care Saturdays this summer along the Three Rivers Heritage and Water Trails for a project-based morning of volunteerism. June's Public Trail Care Saturday will focus on removing invasive overgrowth around the parking area at River Avenue and Heinz Street and nearby limestone rocks, laying landscape fabric, and putting down crushed rock.
