Spring Fling Southside Litter Walk
The Litter Walk is a family-friendly opportunity to explore a neighborhood while collecting litter with a local guide. We will provide complimentary gloves, grabbers, sanitizer, buckets & bags, but all participants are encouraged to bring their own Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) if available. After the walk, join us at Club Cafe from 1 - 3pm for drinks + every volunteer (21+) will get free tickets for an upcoming Club Cafe show of their choice! Kickoff the first day of spring…

Join us for a riverfront cleanup on the Monongahela River! We will be partnering with Allegheny CleanWays and Upstream Pittsburgh. What will we be doing? Volunteers will meet at the Duck Hollow Trail Parking Lot where we will go over safety, our work plan for the day, and then we will be off to work on land and water! Pittsburgh Hash House Harriers is hosting a Green Dress Run to benefit Friends of the Riverfront and the Three Rivers Heritage Trail. Don your green dress and hit the streets and trails on the South Side. Hashers will then head to the South Side VFW for the food, beer, and raffle baskets! The event is open to everyone. Join us in Junction Hollow (Oakland) for an Earth Week clean-up with Pittsburgh Park Rangers! We'll collect litter and have some fun while we are at it. We ask that you wear long pants and close-toed shoes. Glovers, litter pickers, and trash bags will be provided. If you would like to bring your own gear you are more than welcome. Join Friends of the Riverfront and many partner organizations for a Spring Bicycle Festival for Celebrate Trails Day! The event is on the South Side at Unison Bike Lab (South 4th St.). Friends of the Riverfront will have trail maps and trail swag, and you can learn more about how to get involved in supporting the Trails.
