Trail Tuesday Workday
Join Rosie out on the Lawrenceville section of the Three Rivers Heritage Trail for a Tuesday morning workday. Volunteers will work on invasive plant management, including cutting invasive vines from trees, as well as litter pick-up along the trail and riverfront. Join us in our backyard for litter kit assembly! Help us prepare litter kits so even more people can reduce litter on our riverfronts, streets, and parks. Litter kit assembly includes cleaning, painting, and decorating litter buckets. This is a great volunteering opportunity that is high community impact, but low body impact. We will be working from the land and water via the Allegheny Cleanways' boat, the Rachel Carson, to remove trash that has accumulated along the riverfront.
