Trail Tuesday – River Ave
Join us on the Three Rivers Heritage Trail for a Trail Tuesday opportunity. Volunteers will assist with viewshed clearing and overgrowth reduction, as well as collecting litter and debris from the trail.
Find out more »Fireside Folktales: An evening of Storytelling and Stewardship
Join Friends of the Riverfront for a celebration of Indigenous People's Day with a campfire on the water’s edge and a potluck dinner, with featured storyteller Miguel Sague from the Council of Three Rivers. We'll gather at the Sharpsburg public boat ramp, so feel free to bring along your kayak or canoe for a sunset paddle. Potluck dishes should include serving utensils and must be labeled with all ingredients.

Braddock Litter Walk
Join us for a family-friendly Neighborhood Litter Walk in Braddock. Guided by community resident and gardener Fitzhugh Shaw and hosted by Greater Valley Community Services. (300 Holland Avenue) Volunteers will receive Cleanup Kits, a neighborhood orientation, and safety guidelines before embarking on a moderately-paced, Neighborhood Litter Walk for roughly 90 minutes, followed by a social hour with food and drink at Greater Valley Community Services. The East Hills Consensus Group and Friends of the Riverfront are teaming up on Saturday, November 4th at 2pm for a Neighborhood Litter Walk through the East Hills. Focusing on the area around Dornbush Street, we will convene at the intersection of Bricelyn and Dornbush Streets at the site of the future rain garden project supported by Upstream Pittsburgh.
