Want to expand your river navigation skills by learning to lock through one of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Lock & Dams in the Pittsburgh pool? Join 3ROC and Friends of the Riverfront on the Three Rivers Water Trail for the fourth and last lock through paddle experience from the 3ROC Outpost in Aspinwall to Sharpsburg! Join us for a Saturday riverfront cleanup on the Allegheny River with Allegheny CleanWays (ACW)! Participants will have an opportunity to clear invasive knotweed and clean up litter via ACW's boat.

Find out more »Fireside Folktales: An evening of Storytelling and Stewardship
Join Friends of the Riverfront for a celebration of Indigenous People's Day with a campfire on the water’s edge and a potluck dinner, with featured storyteller Miguel Sague from the Council of Three Rivers. We'll gather at the Sharpsburg public boat ramp, so feel free to bring along your kayak or canoe for a sunset paddle. Potluck dishes should include serving utensils and must be labeled with all ingredients.
