Junction Hollow Trail Cleanup
Wear Your Costume! Celebrate Halloween on the Trail and get your hands dirty cutting back invasive plants like Japanese Knotweed, removing invasive vines like Oriental Bittersweet, caring for newly planted native trees, and picking up litter on and along the trail. We’ll identify a variety of plant species and discuss newsworthy plants or pests that threaten the health of our riverfront ecosystems. We’ll make it easy to maintain appropriate social distance. Halloween Cleanup – Junction Hollow
Join Rosie out on the Three Rivers Heritage Trail for a Halloween cleanup. Volunteers will work to remove litter along the trail and nearby streets. COVID-19 safety protocols are in effect. Volunteers are encouraged to bring their own gloves if possible and dress up in costume! Please wear sturdy shoes and long pants. No flip flops or sandals are permitted. Bring enough water with you for the entire workday.

Junction Hollow Clean-Up
Join us in Junction Hollow (Oakland) for an Earth Week clean-up with Pittsburgh Park Rangers! We'll collect litter and have some fun while we are at it. We ask that you wear long pants and close-toed shoes. Glovers, litter pickers, and trash bags will be provided. If you would like to bring your own gear you are more than welcome.
