Tree Planting on the Eliza Furnace
For National Take A Hike Day, get your hands dirty! Friends is partnering with REI for a tree planting along the Eliza Furnace section of the Three Rivers Heritage Trail. We are looking for a large group of volunteers for this event - ask a friend to join and RSVP on Eventbrite so we know you are joining us! PART 2: Tree Planting on the Eliza Furnace
After our initial tree planting on Sunday, November 17th, Friends is planning a follow up tree planting along the Eliza Furnace section of the Three Rivers Heritage Trail on Sunday, December 8th. We will be planting larger trees, spreading topsoil and mulch, and getting our hands dirty! We are looking for a large group of volunteers for this event; bundle up and bring a buddy! RSVP here.
