Train on the Trail – Watercraft Basics & Safety
Save the date for May's Train on the Trail Series installment: Watercraft Basics & Safety! American Canoe Association certified volunteers from Outkast Paddlers will provide introductory level overviews of canoe and kayak watercraft, foundational non-motorized safety considerations, and general approaches to putting in and paddling our Three Rivers. Friends of the Riverfront joins Allegheny CleanWays (ACW) Riverfront Cleanup Program, the Tireless Project, for a day of volunteering as part of their 2023 River Series focusing on the Monongahela River.
