Public Trail Care Saturday – On the Water!
Bring Your Own Boat and join Friends on Saturday, August 27 for our final Public Trail Care Saturday of the summer. We’ll put in at the Westhall Street launch and focus on water-based litter collection and vine cutting along the riverbank. Email out Trail Stewardship Program Manager at alex@friendsoftheriverfront.org to RSVP. Please bring your own water, boat, and safety equipment.

Join us out on the Three Rivers Heritage Trail for special summer work evening! Volunteers will work on invasive plant management, including cutting invasive vines from trees, as well as litter pick-up along the trail and riverfront. Allegheny River Clean Up Series – Natrona
Friends of Riverfront and Allegheny CleanWays will be spending the day in Natrona for the Allegheny River Cleanup Series! We will be working from the Natrona Kayak Launch with volunteers on land and boat to remove accumulated trash along the riverfront. Volunteers will also have the option to participate in a Neighborhood Litter walk with Friends of the Riverfront. Fireside Folktales: An Evening of Stewardship and Storytelling
